The Voluptua Project – Model: Tracy K.

Greetings Fam!

TVP has been resting dormant for quite a while now. Fortunately, things are turning around, there are people that have my back and will assist in the contribution of material and – well, it’s just time to really set it off and take this thing to the 2.0 stage!

With that mentioned, I’m going to begin recruiting models from Chicago and surrounding cities to reignite TVP. I’ll also be developing a core creative team for this and other projects as my “go to” professionals for shoots, events, etc. If you’re in Chicago, a creative professional and interested in being part of TVP simply fill in the form below. I look forward to hearing from you!

This week, TVP is proud to present Plus Model Samantha Davis!

Born in Fremont, California (San Francisco Bay Area), Samantha Davis knew early in life that she was destined for modeling greatness. As a child, she participated in various small fashion shows and at the age of 13 she informed her parents that she wanted to pursue modeling professionally. Samantha’s parents, having faith in her ability to succeed enrolled her in the Barbizon School of Modeling in San Francisco, California where she sharpened her knowledge and skills in modeling. After completing her training at Barbizon, Samantha attended Lights Camera Action (L.C.A.) in San Francisco, California.

After graduating high school, Samantha elected to use a softball scholarship to attend college in Southern California so that she could still pursue her modeling aspirations. Knowing that education comes first, she made a promise to her parents that she would not fully pursue modeling until she completed college. Samantha kept this promise and after receiving her M.S. in Special Education, B.S. in Liberal Studies and 2 teaching credentials (General and Special Education), she moved to Hollywood, California in order to pursue her dream of becoming a plus-size model.

In December of 2006, Samantha was invited to participate in Model Search America in Las Vegas, Nevada. At this event, Samantha met her current commercial agency Clear Talent Group. Guided by her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13 “I can do everything through him who gives me strength,” Samantha strives daily to be a beacon of hope to all plus women, proving that through hard work and dedication you can achieve any goal – regardless of your size! Samantha goes on to state:

“…There aren’t that many plus size models represented in the fashion industry. I would like to represent full figured women on the runway, showing the beautiful clothing that is available to them. As well as in print/commercials to make fuller figured women aware that they too can be beautiful and wear clothing that represents them, shows their curves, and gives them a unique sense of style.”
